Hey y’all! My name is Heather, and I am a Texas-Colorado hybrid. I live in the Denver area with my husband Nate and our two dogs.
I’ve always had the most encouraging, loving family a girl could ask for, but very early on I bought into the lie that to be beautiful I needed to look like the girls in the Teen magazines I read. I never once believed that I was beautiful just the way I was. As a result I struggled with disordered eating for 14 years before realizing a year ago that I am truly beautiful just the way I am.
Over the past year I’ve been playing with ideas on how to share that realization with others, and have become extremely passionate in my belief that we all need encouragement and self-love.
My hope is that Faces of Beauty will become a place where others can come to learn how to love themselves just as they are, no strings attached.

Great idea! I think just using a modified version of your header would make a very pretty button and I’d love to put it on my blog and link to your site. Usually the buttons that I’ve seen and added to my blog are 120×120, but since your header is pretty wide yours might be better at 120×80 instead. Did you design it or did you have someone do it for you?
